How to do

Since different customers may have different requirements. We offer free consulting services to study the best solutions for each single project. In each study, we will first understand what the customer wants. We then suggest to the customers if the project is feasible. If not, what alternatives are available.
We understand that the physical environment that our IOT systems working with would be customer dependent. The sensors, software and hardware to use in different projects will be different. Hence, we developed/acquired a lot of unique software/hardware to tailor for each case.

The followings are some examples of how we handle projects with different natures:-
In-home monitoring system
This is a system that allows someone to monitor if there is any human activites at home. There is a number of uses, e.g. a home owner may want to make sure his/her resort cottage is not illegally occupied, a caregiver can use it to monitor the activities of an elder living alone, parents can check in the office if their kids have arrived home afterschool.
The project involves installing some motion detectors, door sensors, etc., that keep monitoring the activities of the resident. These sensors are connected to the IOT communicator by wire or wirelessly. Since it is a home environment, we use a simple and low cost way to convey the collected data - a communication program installed in the resident's computer that sends the activity to a remote database continuously. A web server with a user friendly web page will display the records in real time.
IOT Communicator
The IOT Communicator is a web-enabling building block we designed. It enables the customers to easily webify their product or applications with minimum technical effort.
This handy device seamlessly links the physical world to the internet. It can work as a standalone unit, or be used as a building block for a larger system.

It is a simple, flexible, but powerful device to web-enable a product or system.
It can work independently alone, or link with a remote server in real time through a cell phone, a wireless MODEM, a netbook, or a PC that can access the internet.
Parameters acquired from the physical world can easily and conveniently be
collected through the internet. Any control command can be sent remotely to the
actuators (e.g. a motor, a valve, an electric lock, etc.) via the internet.

We are happy to work on one-off projects to web enable an existing process, e.g. a call center, an industrial setup, etc. It will be charged on a per project basis.
For manufacturers who want to add web capability to their product, we could sell our device as OEM module and will provide all the tailoring services to integrate it to the customers' product.
